Aimee and Chris Pike, Wedding, Canterbury
We would like to say a MASSIVE thank you to you and the boys for such an amazing performance at our wedding!!!!! You guys were absolutely incredible and contributed massively to the soul of the day and got everyone up and dancing. Everybody said how great you were and how cool all the songs were! We can’t thank you all enough, especially for putting the first dance through your speakers. We’ll certainly be recommending you to everyone we know who gets married!

Sarah Hirons, Wedding, Wiltshire
Everyone said they were the best band they had ever seen at a wedding. The boys couldn’t have been friendlier, and kept everyone dancing all night

Emma Thorman, wedding, London,
“Thank you for the amazing job you guys did for our wedding. So rarely do bands live up to the recorded sound, but you were absolutely incredible live and we have had (literally) hundreds of people commenting on how they thought you made the evening. I saw at least four people (including my father and new husband) hit the dancefloor who never, EVER get up and dance, and I can’t give you a better review than that! Great choice of songs, great sound and above all very cool set of guys, so thankyou.
I am going to start thinking about reasons to have another big party so we can have you back”!

“Thanks for a really brilliant night. Great choice of songs, perfectly paced and really helpful with our annoying requests. Never seen a dance floor so packed for so long, which shows how good the playing was; irresistible foot-tapping grooves. Great stuff – we’d love to have you back.”

Fourmost 60s Band

The Fourmost 60s theme band achieved fame under the management wing of Brian Epstein and had already been part of the boom of beat music in Liverpool, having played the famous Cavern club in 1961, long before the Beatles made their debut. After being auditioned by George Martin, they were signed to Parlophone Records, the same label as The Beatles.

Two commercial Lennon / McCartney songs, “Hello Little Girl” and “I’m In Love” served as their initial asides, but the chirpy “A Little Lovin'” became the bands biggest hit on reaching N0.6 in April 1964. They were featured in the film “Ferry Cross the Mersey” which consolidated their position as one of the leading Liverpool groups as well as appearing as resident band at the London Palladium over a 2 year period.

Today, The Fourmost are one of the busier named bands performing on the 60’s circuit, playing in and around the UK and Europe at such venues as, Butlins, Warners, Haven, Park Resorts and Brittania Hotels and selected theatres to name a few.

In 2011 the Fourmost appeared as guest artistes on a nationwide tour “Live from Liverpool” with fellow Liverpool hit makers the Merseybeats to celebrate 50 yrs in the music industry. This show is now still going strong and being performed all over the UK to this day.

Testimonials
“Janice Shawbrook 2013.6.13 12:19
Great set at Whitby Pavilion on Friday, you blew the Stones and Mike Pender off the stage with your very lively and varied repertoire. Out of all the bands and acts that appeared at the Whitby 60’s weekend both the Fourmost and Union Gap were a cut above the rest.”
“Joan Timms 2013.6.10 21:21
Joan, Sylvia, Al and Dave from Lincoln
Just to say we enjoyed the Whitby festival. We listened to all the sixties bands. We had not seen the Fourmost line-up before but just to say that we thought that you were the most entertaining band of the weekend.
Kindest Regards
Joan xx
PS hope to see you soon”

“Sue & Joan 2013.3.15 09:48
Thanks for a great afternoon’s entertainment at the Oddfellows Club, to date you have been the best 60’s act we have had. Authentic in every way and the ability to involve your audience in to your show. Enjoyed our chat prior to you going on stage, don’t forget to mention us both to Billy and Tony from the Merseybeats.
Don’t tell them, but we think you cover their version of I think of You better than they do. We do hope to see you back here again.
Love Sue & Joan xx”
