The Coolers Band are one of the most highly recommended, highly sought after and highly respected professional party bands in the country! Five incredible pro musicians playing all the greatest hits from the classics of the ’50’s & ’60’s right up to the chart anthems of today. The band are made up of the finest pro session players in the UK and have performed with everyone from B.B. King to Pink. They deliver a superb live main evening show packed with style, excitement and above all incredible music!

The Coolers will arrive ready to party complete with all instruments, amplifiers, microphones, cables, stands, lights and a full PA system. The gear is modern and compact, meaning they can be fully set up in around half an hour. The band are friendly, experienced professionals and rarely require more than a quick line check.

What size is the band?
We offer the band in different sizes, ranging from a 5-piece (male vocal, guitar, keyboards/bass, drums, sax) with options to add extra brass instruments and subject to availability, a female vocalist.

How long are The live sets?
Generally they play 2 x 45 or 1 x 90 minute sets of live music.

Can we choose the songs they play?
We welcome any input into the set list on the evening. We can send you a copy of this well ahead of your event so you will have the opportunity to choose your favourites.

Will you play our first dance live?
We can accommodate most first dance requests with notice, please let us know whether you have a particular song in mind.

Can we see the band live before booking?
They are primarily hired for private corporate functions and weddings where there is no access to the public, however there are ample testimonials from very happy customers and video footage of them performing too. If that’s not enough, the band have been vetted by members of our experienced entertainment agency.

How much space does the band need?
Ideally require 3m x 5m for the 5-piece band.

How far in advance should we book?
We work on a first come first served basis and have had some high profile bookings finalised two years before the event. It is advisable to book as far in advance as possible.

Do you provide a contract?
Yes we arrange contracts between yourself and the band. This is of no extra cost to you but find it gives you peace of mind.

How do we confirm a booking?
When you let us know you would like to book you will be sent a contract and deposit invoice. The booking is held for 3 days for you to sign the contract and pay the deposit. The balance payment is due 2 weeks prior to the event.

What provisions do we make for the band?
The band members require free parking for their vehicles, a hot meal/buffet and complementary soft drinks. Ideally they would also need a room/area where they can stay during intervals.

Do we have a main contact person to deal with?
We have dedicated contact who is on hand to deal with you from enquiry stage right up to your event. They will contact you to confirm itinerary, liaise with the venue on your behalf, discuss song choices and be available for any other questions you have.

Can we have music earlier on in the day?
We have all sorts of great afternoon options from solo piano, guitar or saxophone, to cool jazz duo’s and laid back trios.

Do you provide music during intervals?
The band can play recorded music during intervals at no extra cost.

How long does it take for you set up?
We require approximately 60 minutes to set up and sound check so a standard quote will include a 6pm arrival time, set up by 7p.m. Please let us know if you require an earlier set up or your event is extended past midnight as we are happy to do this for a small additional cost.

What do the band wear?
As most of the events are corporate function and weddings, the band have a smart or smart/casual dress code. If you are looking for a more casual or vintage look please let us know.

Is your equipment PAT tested and do you have public liability insurance?
Our equipment is all fully PAT tested and we have full public liability insurance. If your venue requires a copy of the documentation we can provide this.

Do you accept overseas booking?
They regularly perform outside the UK at private events, please contact us for further details.
