The Opera Duo

This outstanding duo, The Operatics are both professionally trained tenors. They perform in the UK and Europe, singing a mix of opera, musical theatre and classical crossover.

One of the highlights for the duo so far has been performing with Spike Edney’s SAS Band (Spike’s All Stars). Spike is Musical Director and keyboardist with legendary rock band Queen. The Operatic Duo opened the show for Spike at The Brook in Southampton and although the crowd was there for a night of rock, they welcomed the duo with open arms and joined in a rousing rendition of Volare.

The were also proud to perform at the charity gig Concert at the Kings and appeared on the billing with such iconic artists as Georgie Fame, 10cc, Dr Feelgood, Roger Taylor, Spike Edney and the SAS Band, Andy Scott, Kiki Dee, Madeline Bell, Benny Gallagher and Marc Martell from Queen Extravaganza, with compere’s Mike Read and Dan Chisholm.

They are a very popular choice for awards ceremonies, theme nights, hotel entertainment nights and being so popular they are excited about the future. “It’s simple really, they just want to keep on singing and to bring Opera and the classics to the people, to everyone out there who thinks opera is not for me, because it can be, opera can change songs into something more magical and moving.”
