With more than 20 years of performing experience between them, Jess and Jake bring an extremely high level of sophistication and skill to the stage. Rumours Duo specialise in guitar led pop and rock covers from the 50s to now. Their extensive set list makes it possible for clients to select the perfect songs to set the mood at their event.
From functions to cruises, Rumours Duo have a wealth of past experience.
Jess has been performing since she was 15. Past work includes the Rhodes tour of Mamma Mia and That Sixties Show, bass guitar and vocals in European touring originals band, Ivy King, and lead guitar and vocals in highly popular functions band, Devil’s Queen. Most recently with Rumours, she was part of the resident duo on a P&O mini-cruise.
Her guitar rendition of Sweet Child O’ Mine never fails to amaze audiences and her vocals are often compared to those of Stevie Nicks.
Jake has also been performing with bands since he was 15 and is a talented multi-instrumentalist. In the past, he’s played all over the country, both with covers bands and originals bands. Most recently with Rumours, he was part of the resident duo on a P&O mini-cruise.
