Rachael is a professional harpist who has been performing at weddings, parties and events for over ten years, as well as doing a diverse range of other musical work. Music is an important part of any event and Rachael is highly experienced at helping you decide on all the details that are going to make your day extra special, working closely with you to put together a personalised programme that is just right for your occasion. Her repertoire is extensive and spans classical, folk, pop, jazz and original music. If there is a tune you love that isn’t on the list, Rachael is always willing to learn a request or two.

Rachael began playing the harp at the age of 5. She went on to study at the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts graduating in 2008 with a first class honours degree in music. Her tutors have included renowned British harpists Eleanor Hudson and Eira-Lynn Jones, as well as international jazz harpist Park Stickney. Rachael works with bands and theatre projects both nationwide and all over the world. On live work, recorded projects and TV appearances she has worked with artists including Corinne Bailey Rae, Gilles Peterson, Susan Boyle and Jimmy Osmond. She is a regular on London’s jazz circuit performing at venues such as Ronnie Scott’s and the Soho Jazz Club, and she has performed for Sir Paul McCartney, premier league footballers and royalty.

Rachael is available for any type of event including weddings, functions, corporate events, christenings, funerals and Valentine’s Day dinners.

She performs on a stunning French black and gold pedal harp made by Camac. The harp adds a beautiful aesthetic to any occasion and as an additional visual detail. Rachael wears a gown to match your colour scheme, whatever you’ve chosen. She can be booked solo or with her harp and cello duo and provides her own amplification for larger events.
